Cetaphil {a product review and a chance to win $100 visa giftcard!}

Hopefully by now you've come to trust my reviews, especially when it comes to everyday products. For the record, I've never given a false positive review. I often rely on other people's reviews when it comes to what products I purchase, so it's important to me that I be honest and give helpful feedback. I would never recommend something that would be a waste of your money!

We, as a family, struggle all winter to keep my youngest sons skin under control. The poor kid tends to dry up and turn red regularly if not slathered daily in GOOD lotion. If we go even a day sometimes with no treatment, scaly red patches appear and they become hard to manage. We have tried every lotion on the shelf. Most are too thin, some cost a fortune, some smell terribly; almost all of them don't get him through the day. We have to be diligent with most lotions, checking his skin throughout the day to make sure he's not getting too dry. It's a challenging thing to keep up on, especially since he is not quite at the age of being self-aware of his needs.

We were recently invited to try out Cetaphil® moisturizing cream. For starters, it's been recommended by a dermatologist to us many times. Points for that. Additionally, the texture and thickness gave me hope that it would be helpful for my son's skin. We have really tried them all and I can usually tell if they will help or not right off the bat. The test?  If I can put a dollop on my fingers and it runs through them? Not going to do any good.  But Cetaphil was nice and thick, full of all of the good stuff and none of the bad.  The texture was lovely and it really felt like it was doing some good.  Coverage lasts all day, non-greasy and the best part? No itchy little boy.  He did feel "Wonderphil" about it.

The other item we were sent was the Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser.  This was perfect to hand off to my other son, who is a couple of years older.  He is in that stage where he needs to start being aware of how to care for himself, especially his face.  We are trying to help him develop good hygiene skills and this was perfect for him! Why? Because it was fragrance free and did a good job. He didn't want anything to do with anything that smelled remotely girly and this product was just clean smelling.  We tried it, we liked it, we will likely stick to it! :)

So there you have it, happily perfect for both of my boys and both products I would use on myself - that's always a good bonus!

Cetaphil and I are partnering together and you can win a $100 Visa gift card!  To enter, leave me a comment telling me what is making you feel "wonderphil" these days! :)

Feeling "wonderphil" that it's March and Spring is just around the corner - not to mention Spring Break with my kids and plans with great friends!

Ooh, I've used Cetaphil in the past and have loved it. What makes me feel "wonderphil" these days? Well, quite honestly, I haven't been feeling very well, but that's because I'm busy growing a person. :) Even though it doesn't make me feel physically good, I'm excited to meet our new baby later this year, and knowing about the miraculous feat my body is undergoing makes me feel pretty damn good! I already have three children, and we lost a baby at the end of last year, so this is our "rainbow baby."

I feel wonderphil lately because I'm getting my crap together, also the sun has been shining, I miss the sun in the winter! I use Cetaphil cleanser everyday as my face wash, we started using it 5 years ago when my oldest was having bad eczema flare ups, I still use it for my kids when they take a bath.

What is making me feel "wonderphil" these days you ask? Well I have always had issues with my skin and during the winter months my skin would become very dry and I would have to put alot of lotion on everyday and it still would not help. As time has gone by in my 30s i have notices that my skin no matter how many products I had tried my skin got redder and drier and started even cracking, it was so painful. I am so grateful my friend Amanda suggested Cetaphil for facewash before my wedding. I used it for about a week or so and immediately stared to see a difference and still use it to this day, its been about a year I think since I started using it and my skin is alot better. I am now curious to try the lotion you are talking about, can't wait to try another product from this company, it has already had a huge impact for me. Thank you so much for sharing!
