a fun pop secret app {and a chance to win $100 Visa giftcard}.
Does anything go together more than kids and popcorn?
I know that it will be years before the smell of popped popcorn doesn't remind me of my boys and their preschool days. It seems to be the snack of choice many days, and we've often arrived at their schools to the aroma of yummy smelling popcorn filling the halls.
It's a staple everywhere else you go, too! Then why is it so hard to pop the perfect bag every time? All microwaves are different, making it impossible to get it right every time...no more because guess what? There's an app for that!
Yes, a popcorn app. Perfect Pop. It's just as fun as it sounds.
Sounds simple enough, right? Right! It was! It is! And it's cute!! Easy as 1, 2 and 3!
See? Who knew a popcorn app could be so cute?
It also had the added bonus of giving the boys something to pay attention to while they were waiting for popcorn!
You start your popcorn in the microwave, keep your phone close to (but not on or in) the microwave with the app running, and it tells you just when it's perfect and ready to go! It makes popcorn even more fun for the kiddos!
How crazy and fun does that sound? No more burnt popcorn, no more smelly kitchen, no more stalled movie nights or no more complaining from kids having to wait while you pop their popcorn for the second time (or third or fourth). Get it right the first time with this fun app!
You can check out more here or on the App Store.*
Everyone has a different popcorn popping strategy. Before Perfect Pop, how did you pop your popcorn?

I usually just wait for the popping to slow down to a few seconds between pops. My kids would love this app. Fun!

I usually wait until the pops slow down to only one pop and there's at least 2 seconds between pops
Hi! I usually put it in the microwave for 2 minutes and hope for the best. This usually results in burnt popcorn! :) Thanks for the giveaway!
What I do so that I do not burn the popcorn is put in a glass of water to microwave for about 5-10 seconds and then take that out and pop the popcorn per directions and usually this works and most every kernel pops.
It was pure trial and error! Sometimes I would get perfect popcorn and sometimes I would burn it!

I cooked my popcorn by reading the directions and cooking it for the least minutes necessary even if it meant having some unpopped kernals.

We used Jiffy Pop!
https://twitter.com/RascallFlatts/status/341963740805201920
I did it the "old fashioned" way: cooked in a pot, on the stove. Time consuming, but it always makes the best pop corn.
