Chai Tea Bundt Cake

This is a super simple cake that is easy to dress up with your favorite drizzle icing recipe and is excellent with coffee or hot tea! It's a good recipe when you want to do something a little different. 

Chai Tea Bundt Cake

1 cup butter, room temp

1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup honey
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon cinnamon
2 teaspoons ginger
2 teaspoons cardamom
1 1/2 teaspoons allspice
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
cups all purpose flour 
1 cup sour cream 
2 teaspoons vanilla

Preheat the oven to 350°F. 

Beat together butter, brown sugar, and honey until smooth.

Add the eggs one at a time, stir in the baking powder, baking soda, salt, and spices.

Stir half the flour into the butter/egg mixture. Add in the sour cream and vanilla. Stir in the remaining flour.

Grease a 9- or 10-cup Bundt pan. Scoop the batter into the prepared pan, and bake for 50 to 55 minutes, an inserted toothpick comes out clean and cake begins to pull away from the sides.
