Yummy Eggless White Cake (and Frosting!)

I recently made this for a celebration in our house and just wanted to make sure I'd be able to find it again! Plus I thought it might be handy for those of you with an egg allergy! The cake and frosting was delish!! You'd never guess there were no eggs!

Eggless White Cake
2 cups all purpose flour
3/4 tsp salt
1 1/2tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
3/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons of water
1/2 cup vegetable oil
3/4 cup sugar
4 1/2 tsp white vinegar
1 tablespoon vanilla
1/2 tsp almond extract

White Frosting
1/4 cup butter at room temp
2 1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/8tsp salt
1/2tsp vanilla
2 tbls of water

Preheat oven to 350. Grease an 8in square pan. Combine flour, salt, baking soda and powder  ingredients in a bowl.  In a separate bowl combine water, oil, sugar vinegar and extracts. Add dry mixture to wet mixture. Combine well.  Add to pan and bake for 30-35 minutes.

Make frosting while cake cools and frost.
