Pumpkin Spice Chex Mix and a FREE Printable to match! :)

This chex mix variety is amazingly wonderful.  I may like it more than the original but don't tell anyone.  It is sweet and salty and not too pumpkin spicy.  Just right for sharing and snacking on!

It's simple to make, quick and sure to please.  Plus, you can sub whatever you want as far as the main components.

Here is the version I made, based on a post from Princess Pinky Girl.

Pumpkin Spice Chex Mix
1 box (approx 8 cups) of honey nut chex
4 cups of pretzels
2 bags of caramel bugles (16oz each)

1 stick of butter
1/2 cup of brown sugar
1 tsp of vanilla
2 TBL of pumpkin pie spice

1 bag of caramel m&ms
2 bags of candy corn (size can depend on how much you love them ;)

Combine cereal, pretzels, bugles in a large bowl.  Melt together butter, brown sugar, vanilla and spice in microwave until just combined and butter is just melted.  Do not overcook.  Pour this mixture over cereal mix.

Pour the entire combination onto two baking sheets lined with parchment paper.  Bake for 45 minutes at 275, stirring every 15 minutes.

Remove from oven and allow to cool completely before combining with candy.  Share as much as possible before you eat it all yourself.
Here is how I shared this with teachers.  Just a cute little harvest themed printable and some ribbon tails in a treat bag.  Here's a similar bag to what I use for a lot of treats: HERE.  They are inexpensive and super handy! :)
And below is the printable I designed for the week! Perfect for teachers and so many others, don't you think?

Download the free printable HERE.

My preferred method of printing these is to drag it to a word file, resize it to a size that works for me and tile it on the page and print that way onto cardstock.

You can also download the shutterfly app and order them as 4 by 4in prints for FREE if you pay shipping. This printable would be great for lots of things, not just teachers! Lunch boxes, notes to a friend and more!

Have a great week!
