It's a New Years Day clean up thing for us. We continue to sing Christmas songs around the tree before bedtime after christmas. I love it. It's sad to see it all go, but SO nice to have all of the new toys finially in their places and all of the pine needles and wrapping paper put away. Happy New Year to you and yours! :)

I have so many ideas in my head I can&#39;t decide what to start first. So, I&#39;m going to put the decoration away today. My husband would like them all up till after New Years (that is because he isn&#39;t the one that puts them away) I leave the tree up with just white lights on it for him.<br />Hope you had a wonderful Christmas.

I was planning on leaving the decorations up for a while, but I woke up with lots of energy and focus. Thus, the decorations are put up, our attached storage shed has been cleaned out and reorganized, our BC (before Christmas) toys have been reduced, our pantry has been cleaned out and organized and the top of our refrigerator has been cleaned off (who knew it could be so gross up there?!). Whew!

In years past, I&#39;ve taken down decorations the day after Christmas. But, in years past I&#39;ve always gone way overboard with decorating. This year I was very choosy with what got put up and what went right back to the Christmas bins. I think I&#39;ll leave it up another day or two!

I&#39;m hoping to get mine all packed away today or tomorrow...depends on how many family members keep dropping by! I love Christmas, but I&#39;m also ready to get my house back to normal and move on with the new year. :)

We thought about taking all of our decor down before we came to florida. We didn&#39;t. So, we&#39;ll go home to it. Hopefully it&#39;ll be down by the new year.
