This looks like such a cool book! Thanks for sharing. I can “see” but not with a machine. Would love to learn one day. I learned to sew in middle school.

Hi! I learned to sew with my grandma as a child. I did not really sew anything as an adult until about 5 years ago. Sewing mends the soul!

I've been sewing for about 5 years. With a 3 year old and a 5 month old it has been a little less lately but I love creating.

Hi Crystal! I’d love to win this sweet book. I’ve been sewing about 20 years. My mom tried to teach me when I was younger but it didn’t take. My sweet grandma even gave me a Singer for college graduation which was totally on faith since I’d never sewn a stitch before. What really motivated me to learn was a quilting class I took so i could make a quilt for my best friend who was pregnant with her first child. She liked it so much she had four boys total! It has been a blessing to bless others with this talent/therapy God gave me.

I’ve been sewing for most of my life (at least 50 of my 57 years). I learned from my mom and one of her good friends.

I started sewing in 1983, right after my oldest daughter was born. Up until then I just did crafts and counted cross stitch but that brand new baby was just begging for some cute dresses! So, I took a class at the local high school and the rest is history! The answer is 35 years!

The book looks wonderful. Congratulations!

My mother taught me how to sew the summer of 6th Grade. My first project was a pair of shorts with a different fabric for each pattern piece. I loved those shorts!

My grandma taught me how to sew when I was little. I had a little red sewing machine I'd use sitting next to her. I then took sewing in junior high but didn't do anything with it for over 10 years. I then started a little sewing business when my little girl was born to give me something to do. Even though there are times I get super frustrated, I love doing it!

How fun! I’ve sewed (I use the term lightly) on & off for a few years. I’ve really only made simple blankets & burp rags & I took a class once to make a bag:)
