all the things!

Hello and happy Friday morning to you!  It's been a whirlwind kind of season here as Summer is trying to make an exit and the new school year is just around the corner.  Even though there are days when my boys try to kill each other.  all.  day.  long.  we are still trying to savor every last bit of the summer we have left...and we are extra thankful that their school has such a generous summer calendar.  We're trying to do at least one fun thing a day for the rest of the summer.  That's been mostly a success...above the boys are enjoying ice cream for dinner, which I don't think should be a sole summer experience, right?
Last week we made the boys dreams come true and let them have a lemonade/cookie stand while we were also having a yard sale.  The boys did extremely well on all levels.  They worked for weeks in advance culling their toy collection and the day of the yardsale they diligently manned their lemonade table, asking every patron if they wanted some.  Aaron pulled out his salesman side and would say things like "Do you want some free lemonade?  Then you have to buy five cookies".  Clever right?  They boys brought in over $60!  Not bad for .25c a pop!
Just Aaron being Aaron.
On one of our "one fun thing" adventures.  $1 movie and a trip to visit the pet store.
And if you're following me on Instagram, you're not missing out on the antics of our Gertrude.  Here she is with her favorite toy "baby cat", whom she will steal out of the boys' room every day of her life.
And here she is with the brownies she dropped on my head in the middle of the night.
She's a thief who regularly steals things from us, including tooth flossers and art projects.
I finally feel like I am reaching a nice flow of work in the studio.  I'm kind of excited to see what I can do with my time once I have two kids in school all day!  It's been fun to make these pillows again! (available in your choice of color (and theme if I can)).
As always, the keepsake hohos are my favorite!  How cute did these turn out?
And did you know?  I can make anything into a keepsake, even my lovey blanket!
 Another super cute keepsake!
I've also been working with a wonderful designer to turn my logo, which I drew, into more than just a file on my computer.  These note cards (available as an instant download in my shop) are the first of many products I hope to add to the hoho collection!  I can barely keep up with my new ideas and I LOVE it!
And if you aren't following me on Instagram, you're missing out on a fabulous giveaway every week!!  This is this week's giveaway!  Find me at littlebitfunky to see how you could win it!

Hope your weekend is blessed and your children don't try to off each other!

P.S.  While you're here don't forget to hop over and read my post on making family memories! :)

Our house cat has a favorite stuffed kitty toy that she loves. We call it little kitty. We have to hide it from her sometimes because she will put it in her mouth and cry, very loudly, for no reason. It is very hard to sleep when she does that.
