40 ideas number 19 - Sponge target game!

We just did this activity last night and it bought me ONE WHOLE HOUR of peace and quiet!
All you need are some chunky sponges in different colors (found some good ones at Lowe's),
some chalk and a buck of water!
Cut the sponges into pretty equal squares.  I was able to get eight from each sponge.
Fill up a bucket of water, dunk your sponges in.
Draw a target some distance away and assign points to each ring.
Take turns tossing!
And trick your children into practicing their math skills by adding up each players points.  Repeat, repeat, repeat!

And don't forget to hop on over and leave your comment for a chance to win $100 from Curel!
