three pinterest pins for the win!

1) This amazing camera art...for $16 total including frame.  Frame from Michaels on sale 40% off and free art printed at Staples for about $3.77!  The folks at Design Editor offer the art for FREE!
2) Do you make bacon like this?  You should!  Bacon laid flat on parchment paper, place in cold over, warm up to 400 and cook anywhere from 15-20 minutes until it reaches your perfect level of done!
Bacon was perfect!  Parchment paper caught ALL of the grease, when it solidified I just threw the paper away and didn't even have to clean the pans!  Idea from Martha!
3) See that scrubber?  It's full of half dish soap and half vinegar.  I keep in in the shower and use it while IN the shower to give the shower a once over.  Has made a HUGE difference and no having to clean the tub separately!  It works so well that I put one the in boys tub and now THEY clean the tub!

What have you done from pinterest lately?

***Side note...while browsing and pinning away on Pinterest, please be sure that you dig into a pin until you get to the original source!  I try try try to do this, and yes I miss some, but if we can all take some time to make sure every pin we use is properly credited, then everyone wins!

Oh I really love the print Crystal. I've wanted to try printing one of those from staples, what a great idea.

And man, I HATE cleaning the shower. I'd rather clean the toilet every day than scrub the shower out. This was SO NICE to read!

I've been wondering about the bacon pin. I'm so happy you tested it and it works! I'm doing this, this weekend. Thanks! I completely agree about finding the source of a pin. Give credit where credit is truly due. People work hard at creating original things.

I too cook my bacon in the oven, though I didn't get the idea from pinterest.

I tried the vinegar and dawn but in a squirt bottle. Acts like Scrubbing Bubbles. I spray in the shower and wipe it down when I finish drying off. It works beautifully but my family hates the vinegar smell even with the addition of an essential oil.

Of course, I've tried loads of recipes. Latest one was cauliflower puree. It was supposed to be like mashed potatoes without the carbs but it was a major fail. Also tried strawberry cake from scratch (no jello, food coloring or cake mix). Awesooome!

The scrubber idea is perfect for me! We still have one of those 80's garden tubs in our master bath. You know, the kind that you actually have to get into to clean the crazy thing, lol. Anyway, this will be a great way to maintain it.

I adore the camera print. I collect vintage cameras so I can see one of these in our living room very soon.

Thanks for sharing!
