Four eggs!
They all hatched day after day...one..
...two...
...three...
They were doing really well. Until one afternoon I had to chase a cat out of our yard. :(
Then this little guy was all that was left...and he didn't make it either.
So sad but so beautiful at the same time.

Your photos are beautiful. I can hardly believe the colour of robin eggs they are so pretty. Those cats sure are buggers though aren't they? Poor wee chicks :(

This made me smile until you got to the cat part. Have I ever mentioned how much I dislike cats. A lot!
Oh no! Our babies jumped out as we watched them and all made it to safety. I would have been devastated had they not made it :'(
