Best Buy Review- Num 5-Polar Womens Watch

Hi friends! I have another really great product review for you! This week I am reviewing a Polar FT7 women's watch. If you had asked me a couple of weeks ago what that meant or what it was, I couldn't have told you...but I tell you what, now, I LOVE it. While we're at it, can I just say, that of all the products I have gotten so far, THIS is the one I thought I would like least. However, nothing could be further from the truth! This little watch has been SO motivating for me and my workouts. In some weird way, it's been really fun to be able to track my actual time spent exercising, calories burned and more! SO fun!
The Polar Watch helps you make the most of your workout with this water-resistant heart rate monitor and watch system. The EnergyPointer feature lets you know when exercise shifts from fat burning to fitness improvement. How exciting is that?! I had no idea something so simple could be so fun and easy to use! It's like INSTANT gratification following a workout and who isn't motivated by instant gratification.
My favorite feature by far is the one shown above. How many calories did I just burn? Hmmm...let me just check....272! Yes! Who knows how this may have changed my life had I found it years ago! Set up was the hardest part and that just meant entering all of your information like height and weight and even that was easy! Using it with a workout is very easy...you just put on the watch (which you could very well wear all the time) and put on the heart monitor band, push start and you are ready to go!
I was a little leery of the whole heart monitor band but once you have it on and adjusted properly, you instantly forget it's there. In fact, I have left it on way past a workout or two because I forget all about it. You don't feel it while you are working out at all and I have been doing lots of jumping jacks and running in place. Just ask Jillian.
Want a little instant gratification for your workouts? Well guess what? Best Buy and BlogHer are giving me one to give to one of you! To be entered for a chance to win, all you have to do is leave a comment on this post telling me what your biggest motivator to exercise is.

My biggest motivator is a toss up in being able to indulge in what I want to eat (in moderation), when I want--and to know that I am living a healthy lifestyle. It's so easy to skip a day of working out--but just as easy to take the dog on a 5-10 minute longer walk than usual. Exercising is an easy way to ensure that you have the energy necessary to tackle whatever the day may bring--and allows you to confidently explore Mother Nature, without having to stop to catch your breath every 5 minutes, or not being able to reach the top of the mountain to explore the magnificent views.

If I bring one of my dogs with me on a power walk, it's doubly gratifying and motivating because he/she is enjoying the work-out, too. It always gets me off my duff.

Biggest motivation: Not needing to buy new clothes. I have the cutest "pre-baby" clothes and I just want to wear them again. Seeing them is my motivation. This is kind of cool you get to test all these products- I would never have even known they existed.

Hmm...my biggest motivator has to be the way I feel after exercise. My workouts aren't always fun, but I always feel amazing afterwards! And I love the thought of myself getting stronger and faster :)

My Biggest motivator is the forty pounds I'm still carrying around from baby number ONE. I have four!

I need to get this weight off for my health and for my back. It's getting worse every day.

My biggest motivator to exercise is losing the baby weight from my third child (who's now 9 months old...so it's about time!)

My biggest motivator is seeing myself improve. I would love a tool such as this so I could numerically track my improvement.

Motivator? Truly the 10 yr old Polar Heart Rate Monitor watch I own - it's the best! But it really needs replacement :)

My biggest motivator to exercise is the fact that I'm a young wife & momma who wants to be healthy and take care of my "temple" so that I can live my life to the fullest, being able to see my girls grow up and to do the things I'm meant to accomplish in my own life. That may sound cheesy but its the total truth.

My biggest motivator is feeling good and be able to eat a little bad!

My biggest motivator is to fit into my pre-pregnancy pants. I am in that awkward stage where the maternity pants are too big and my regular clothes are too small.

My biggest motivation right now is losing the weight I've put on (and fitting into the jeans I have!). It really helps me to be signed up for a race or a triathlon since I'm pretty competitive.

I just started working out again, 3 weeks ago, after a year of laziness.

My biggest motivation, other than just to be healthy, is my husband. I want to look my best for him! Although he tells me I am beautiful, all the time, I know that I can be so much better in my healthy body!!

I lost 61 lbs in 2006 and was beyond excited!! Got rid of ALL of my FAT clothes so I would have nothing to fall back on! Alot of things happened the following few years and slowly but surely my weight began to creep back up on me! So now I am back up, dusted off, and back on the weight loss wagon where I intend to stay. Having said all this my biggest motivator would be as I walk on my treadmill I watch past episodes of Biggest Loser!! That is such an inspiration to me to know someone like them can do it so I know I can do it too!!! mom25boys84 at yahoo dot com

My biggest motivator is seeing my body change -- a smaller waist, the shadow of newly defined muscle, stronger legs. I love measuring my progress as well -- being able to walk up 6 flights of stairs when I could only do 4 before, for example.

M biggest motivator right now is my new FitBit, I love seeing the numbers go up and seeing when I get a new "badge" for reaching a new goal. I wish it was better motivator to get me in the gym, but at least it's keeping me walking and taking the stairs when I'm working these long hours ;)

Oh wow I'd love to win this! I was looking at them on the internet after you posted a picture of yours the other day. My biggest motivation is probably my kids. Not original, but true. Second to that would be the clothes in the basement that I would love to wear!

My biggest motivator to exercise are my kids. I chose to have my children later in life (age 38 and 41) so I need to be the healthiest, strong and active mom for them.

I would love this. I am almost 51 and after not exercising for almost 2 years I decided to get my body going again. I started Zumba 3 times a week and will increase my exercise soon. I think this watch will help motivate me to keep going.
