So I finished up the girly version of the abc's for my niece (who was born yesterday!!!) but I also have a new nephew in the works (he's coming in a couple of weeks).
I searched and searched for a good boy version and found nothing. At least nothing that I wanted to do. So I did what any self respecting crafter would do...I made up my own.
This sampler pattern is all mine. Designed from random fonts and stitches. I'm kind of making it up as I go and I am rather enjoying how it is coming out. I am hoping to have the pattern for sale as well as prints.
It's happy, fun and a little quirky. And even though it IS taking some time to get done, it is going much faster than the girly one did. :)
I've also been working my latest hoho version...sweet little hoho owls. I listed these "up for grabs" on my little bit funky facebook page and they sold out in moments. My customers are the best and I am so thankful for each and every one of them. :)
Speaking of customers...I am a few sales away from 4000 on my etsy shop. It's a number that I just can't believe. FOUR thousand items that I have made and sent out to all sorts of lovely people. And that is just the number sold through the shop. It's crazy and mind blowing and humbling all at once.
I am so grateful to do what I love...while caring for my family from home. It's a blessed life.
