A little ray of sunshine to break up the mood here. :)
I finished up my project from THIS post.
In case you missed it...the smiles are drawn by Moses and embroidered by me.
I LOVE how it turned out...could not be happier. And I see more in the future...he just started drawing pirate ships...and flags and all these other fun things that I just know I will want to preserve.
His artwork adds just a little ray of sun...or rainbow...right by the front door.
And because I know I will be asked...the hands print is from HERE.
The other prints are from HERE.

I'm sorry you've been struggling. I look forward to seeing you tuesday at the class field trip. (I think I saw your name above mine on the sign up list.)

i love the embroidery...i'm gonna have to do one :)
My prayers are with you during this time of transition :)
oh my word... that is beyond cuteness! i am definitely going to have to do that or i will regret it! i just bought that print too the one that says god loves you only in a different color :) love her shop!
just because i'm sending you hugs today!
Some people just need to learn empathy. I get it because we just moved back east. It is hard to find people you can relate to. If I did not have a social network, I would not know a soul, and feel so isolated. I still do not know my neighbors, and really doubt I will for the time that we are here. That is why it is important to find a social network. If I did not have my religion, I would be a mess. One thing my church does is a google group. Everyone signs up for it, and everyone can post on it. If someone is going to the park, they post an invite for anyone to come. If someone found a good deal at a store, they post about it. It makes you feel connected to people you barely know. You could suggest that at your church. See if they are interested. It will bring you closer, because it makes you feel like they have your back.
Love it, so cute!
Your framed work looks just amazing. You must have so much patience to embroider like that!
I simply can't believe how people have been towards you Crystal. Are people really so cold and caught up in themselves that they can't be bothered with other people? That's just sad.
On a happier note, that is the coolest wall hanger everrrrrr! Such a brilliant idea. You are such an ideas girl. Love it, love it, love it!
Now if only I could embroider....
Love the smile art! Ella's pre-school teacher calls their drawings at this age "M&M heads," which is pretty accurate. What a sweet keepsake of this stage in his life.

That is just too cute. The colors make it perfect. I've embroidered my kids hand prints, I think I might have to do their drawings, too.
Cute! Childhood memory art!
That is beyond darling and fabulous. Seriously. I just love that.
I love the faces...planning to do one for my best friend who has a daughter with autium. That I had taken care of for 7 years and this summer we both moved from across the street from each other. Her for her husbands job out of state and me because I couldn't live in my house without that sweet family as neighors. Love reading your blog everyday. Thanks
Are you kidding me? Those little embroidered faces are the cutest thing EVER!!! I am a grammy to a 4 yr. old grandson and am SO going to do this!!
Very nice!C an you do a tutorial on embroidery stitches. Yours look so even and nice! Pretty please!
I LOOOOVE the happy faces. So much so that I think I may have to borrow your idea and have Huntler draw a bunch of Transformers (his thing right now) for me! Embroidery is one craft I CAN handle!! :)
I haven't stopped by in a while, we've been crazy here...but I wanted to say that I just caught up on your last couple posts and I'm so sorry...I've felt like that before, sort of alone in a crowded room, tired of trying to make it work. That verse you quoted from Jeremiah is one of my favorites. Cling to that, my friend...He will NEVER forsake you.
I love reading your blog, it is so encouraging to me. I like how you combine so many different passions together.
Your honest "the good & the bad" posts are so inspiring. Thank you for being genuine.
i have two of those prints and i LOVE your embroidered faces.
