I made some pretty this weekend.
I had to cut 88 1.5in squares. For ONE quilt square.
I love these photos...and the tiny squares. So pretty and happy.
I can't imagine making an entire quilt out of these squares...
And I do love learning new quilt patterns. This pattern is via Little Miss Shabby.
And this is the result once they are all together. Stunning(in my opinion). But a notch or two above my patience level for a whole quilt. The pattern is easy...but the construction takes a bit of time. :)
So that's what I worked on this weekend. Now back to the hoho's. :)
Do you have a favorite quilt square pattern? I'd love to see it...leave a link in the comments. Please. :)

Soooo pretty! My hexagon obsessed brain just flashed to what a great quilt those little squares would make :)
If you ever feel like fussy-cutting that gorgeousness into 2.5" squares, let me know and we can make a deal :)
Fabulous quilt block, too! I've been admiring that block style since I first laid eyes on it.
I loved the quilt along from last summer!!! I have my strips all cut and partly sewn - am a slow gal! Hope to get her done one day :) you'll see it one day! :)
Wow. Now that is some fabulousness. Yes, it is. I just love how it turned out. I don't know that I would have the patience either...but oh, the beautifulness of all those cute 1.5 inches squares. Happiness.
I love the square!!! Where is the world do you get all of that fabulous fabric from?? I would love to make a quilt for my daughter! But first I think I will start with the McCheater quilt- love it too!!

Oooh Crystal--that looks fab! And all of those little square photos are beautiful--makes me want to try out a fun doodle stitching block using 1.5" squares.
