he's naughty.

You may think he is all cuteness and baby.
But this kid is a thinker.
And he is always thinking about climbing.
This is a favorite peak.
As is this one.

This piece of furniture had to be removed completely.
(note the face in this photo)

You've seen his love of the dryer.

If you leave ANY of the dining room chairs out even a tiny bit this is what happens.

 He also loves the desk.
Everything is a step stool.  Everything.  Lately, I have caught him carrying around a wipes case to use as a stool.  Like good parents, we remove the things he climbs on...but that only makes him set his sites higher.  So...

This is our new standard uniform for him.

Ha ha, awesome! Cute pictures! And I feel your pain! My son carries things around so he can set them up so he can reach the light switches. Ha ha ha, ah, boys.

Wow, he's impressive!

I'm glad you like Guster...I can't pick just one favorite, but they would be close to it :)

Too funny, I have the same problem.
My little monkey moves her rocking chair close to the couch and climbs over the arm of the couch and jumps on to the couch..

I love his face in the dryer! We always called my daughter our little monkey. She is 5 now and still climbs the counters!

hilarious! Ava was like that, too. It drove me C.R.A.Z.Y!!! Now she's just incredibly agile on the play stuff at the park and doesn't climb anything else...whew!

i can COMPLETELY relate to this. my 14 month old is the same way. he is constantly finding ways to climb higher, and i think all my hairs are turning gray because of it!

Laughing, since my LAZY little one does not climb, does not walk, only crawls if we leave her alone in a room. Lazy!!! But I think I like me some lazy.

This post made me laugh so hard. I can definately relate. Our sons are too much alike. I have a 23 mth old son who insists on climbing anything and everything. And, he gets "guck" a.k.a. stuck in everything. I've started colloecting pictures of all the places he gets stuck.

Is the goose egg gone already? Or did you take those pre-faceplant? :)

Natalie got to my laptop once and (right in front of me and in just one cute little grabby motion, I might add) she popped 3 of the keys off with those clammy, chubby little one-year-old fingers - beware! Luckily I didn't use the F12, NumLk, or PrntScrn keys much!! :)

Love it! So funny! My 2 yr old Noah can climb, but he is big and clumsy. You're in for a fun next few years! AND I love that your living room is full of toys and toy bins! Mine too.

Love the new uniform...isn't that what all little ones need to be wearing? :) My son wore a helmet at 12 mos. (to round out his head) but it also came in handy since he was just learning to walk/run which results in a lot of falling down. I even had parents ask me where they could get one because they thought it was for safety reasons.

My son wasn't a big climber until just recently and he's almost 3. I guess I should consider myself lucky. Keep your eyes on that boy. Aaron may be "naughty" but he's sure cute!

I just came across your blog and love it! So cute! I love all your decor! I'm feelin' your pain about naughty kids who get into everything! It's cute to see all the pics though!

What a fun post! Love that last picture! I need that uniform for my son. He is 21 months old and has been a climber since well before he walked. It's crazy. Fun, but crazy. I feel your pain! : )
