that is such a FABULOUS idea...i've seen people buy wooden dowel rods or clothes pins to wrap around, but never the spools...thanks for sharing such a crafty, clever, re-purposing idea yet again!! :)
I need ideas on how to keep my lace in order. I have tons..and then one day at Goodwill,found a ganormous,gigantic...very,very large bag of laces,of all sorts. It's not like I would ever have needed lace again I already had so much, but I just couldn't leave it there. So the bag of lace is still just that..loose inside the bag..none is wound or wrapped..but it's beautiful and I love it. Now the problem..how to store it?????

Great idea! I also like to use wooden clothespins, the old ones that just slide onto the clothesline with a ball at the top, for ribbon. Works great!
