Hellooooo! It's crafty time!
Today's 20 minute crafter is
Chrissie Grace...artist, author, mommy and more. :)
You can visit her HERE.
Enjoy and think Mother's day...

Like many of you, Little Bit Funky is one of my very favorite blogs, so I am so honored to be sharing one of my projects over here with you!
This has got to be one of the easiest craft projects I've ever done...
Everyone knows that silhouettes are still super hot decor.
If you haven't done one for your kids yet, you have no excuse now!:)
Supplies that you'll need:
~camera and a printer
~wooden plaque (I bought mine at Michaels for 79 cents)
~white paper (I prefer cardstock)
~Modge Podge
~scissors
~black paint and a paintbrush
~ribbon
~hot glue gun

Cut away from the shadows if you have any...

You may have noticed that I never painted my wooden plaques. I preferred the look of the light wood. You could vary this project by painting the background different colors, painting your silhouette a different color, or incorporating scrapbooking papers into the mix. I hung ours above our bed, but I think it would be a great idea to make them for scrapbooks too.
Wouldn't it be cool to make one at the same time every year to document change?
Thanks for joining me on this little crafting adventure. I hope you have fun making some:)
xo, Chrissie

These are SO awesome...I will be doing this...like tonight. :) Thank you gals!!
Painting the actual picture...now why didn't I think of that?!? This is so quick & easy it's almost a crime...Thanks! :)
thanks for this... i have been really wanting to do this only in a frame a bit larger. now that i know how you did it i can modify it not be scared :)
So cute! I'm a huge fan of Chrissie Grace so it's great to see her here.
Very cute idea! Having one for every year to show change would be great. If you're up with design software like photoshop or illustrator you could just trace around the silhouette using the pen tool, colour that in black and then delete the backing photo and add in whatever background you'd like.
AWESOME! I had to do this and I love how they turned out! Check it out...
