things i'm lovin.

I'm loving my new pin cushion from Happy Find.
I can't wait to see it in person!
I love when Aaron sits like this to play.
Is it possible for paint color to make a house actually happy?
I think so.
I love fresh bread but yeast does not like me.
So...I love Rhodes...perfect fresh bread (or rolls or cinnamon buns) every time.
Take that finicky yeast.
I love my mantle.
It is my favorite canvas.
I love my paint color. Crystal Aqua from Valspar.
It feels fresh and happy even when it is January.
I don't love that it is January.
I'm loving my custom orders. :)
I'm loving that my sewing machine now hums instead of clangs.
Who knew that lint could make that much difference?

My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. 2 Corinthians 12:8

I am loving this scripture.
I can't quite articulate it at the moment...but soon maybe.

I love your questions.
I think it is time for another question and answer.

So if you have a question you have been dying to know...leave it in the comments.
You might want to click on FAQ over in the labels section on the right, too, to see if it has been asked in the past.

I don't love that it is supposed to snow this Saturday.

I read the other faq posts and didn't find my answer so here is my question - where did you get that amazing clock?

I have two sons as well and I love saying "my boys" - (you mentioned that in a past faq post.)

I love that color too, it's the exact color of my bedroom!

My questions... Where did you grow up? Who taught you to be good at all things domestic?

Happy Friday! ;)

I'm so glad you are having another Q & A! When you put an applique on something, what do you use as a backing to your applique? I have been wanting to try applique for awhile now, but have been a bit chicken!

Cute Pincushion! I love your paint color! It has me wondering what room I could paint that color.
Where did you get the big clock from ?

And I love that your paint color is named after you. It was meant to b! :)

I would love to know where you find the time to get your creative projects done? Naptime? After the kids go to bed? I can never seem to find the time.

those pillows are amazing. i'm trying to mentally burn them into my brain.
and that scripture! it's speaking to me, too. "weakness" has been the forefront of my thoughts recently. as in, i'm finding myself weaker than i once thought. weaknes=not perfect=major problem for me. i know, i'm working on it. this scripture is making a powerful statement right now. thank you.

Ok, so I sent you an email last week that had questions in them, can you count those?? =) Thanks!

I posted a question earlier, and I thought of a part 2 that goes with my original question. When you sew an applique onto a shirt, do you sew a lining of some sort on the inside of the shirt to keep from catching any of the stitches?

P.S. Thanks for sharing the spiral cookie recipe the other day! Those cookies are on my 'to-do' list this week! :)

Another question - where do you buy your felt for the appliques and letter banners?

LOVE the green hat!!! Where did you find it?

I LOVE Virginia...grew up there (Fairfax), went to college at JMU, and then moved to Texas when I got married. Since then we've moved to Missouri. Still miss VA, though.
