highlights of lowkey

We had two sick boys and my husband is a Target exec.
So our Thanksgiving was very low key.
Very.
Moses started the morning by waking up at 4:30 am.
I woke up to him going
"psst...pssst...pssst..."standing at the top of the stairs.
Completely nude he was.
I put him back to bed. Doug was already at work.

I did make a full Thanksgiving dinner...complete with perfect rolls.
We tried to wear Moses out by playing wii...
Only Doug ended up more tired.
Stinkface showed up...
And turned nine months old. :)
Moses and I made a "crap" as he calls it.
I made some cakes for Doug to take to his team at work on Thanksgiving.
And worked on some new "crap" myself. :)

Overall...a good day.
Low key and laid back was just what we needed.

We have so much to be thankful for...truly.

Today I hope to decorate for Christmas...and NOT leave the house.
I was not made to shop on Black Friday...definitely not alone with two kids. :)

Did you?

Sounds like you guys had a great Thanksgiving! We had one as well. My mom was out this morning at 4:30 AM shopping like a mad woman, she nuts ;). My brother Ronald has been texting me all morning telling me how crazy people are acting! I told him to tell mama to bring him over to my house he could get out of the drama of black Friday. I don't like be crowds of people trying to buy the same thing so black Friday never worked for me. I hope you guys have a great weekend!!!

I sent Andy to Target at 5am for the $3 Coffeemaker. He also snagged a 1.5 quart slow cooker for $3.

I just woke up to the smell of fresh coffee.

That is my kind of Black Friday shopping. : )

Your "crap" is fab! I tried to go shoppping today but I realized I am finished. Stop spending, Nancy. Stop right now. So, I did. I think I will decorate today. It is a little hard to get in the spirit here when it is like 85 degrees. NOt too wintery!

Looks like you had a sweet T'giving day!

Now that our out of town guests are on the road and I'm settling down for some quiet with my own two kiddos, I just checked in on the giveaway.

Let's just say I'm squealing and thanking God as this was a much needed item for our upcoming bundle (the third of three to be under three!)

Thanks!!!

I think it sounds like a great day! I spent mine with my husband's family which involves a lot of 3rd cousins I don't know from Floyd. I think your days sounds so much more peaceful!
