So, let's just say...that this sweet adorably cute baby wakes up at 4:30am.
Probably because one of these two tooth bumps has yet to produce a tooth.
He cries just enough to ensure that you will not go back to sleep.
Then. When he finally falls back to sleep...
He sleeps for a WHOLE thirty minutes.
Goody goody.
While he is up, he shows you some of the new stink faces he is working on.
You lose count. And are about to lose your mind as well.
And he throws one more at you.
Then you remember that there is a roll of crescent rolls in the fridge just dying for a better destiny...

1 can refrigerated crescent rolls
1/4 c. butter, softened
4 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon

1 c. powdered sugar
2 tbsp. apple juice or milk

Lay crescent rolls flat. Spread with butter. Combine sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle this over rectangles. Roll up each crescent as normal.
Place each roll heavy side down .

Bake at 350 degrees for 15-17 minutes.
Glaze warm rolls.
Redeem crappy morning.

I love reading your blog and hearing your stories...Just wanted to pass this on to you, have you ever heard of It is a website that sells hazelwood and amber necklaces, known to help with teething, excema, etc. Sounds crazy, but I got the necklace for my daughter who is 17mos, for teething and for her excema. After a week her skin was cleared up and she also just cut one of her i-teeth, the corner ones that hurt a lot and I didn't even know it. So, just wanted to pass that on to you, you can read all about it at the website, pretty cool stuff and it beats giving your child tylenol every 4 hours!

Poor guy! Love those stink faces! And the first one is pretty cute, too. It looks like he was laughing hysterically at you pushing up his lips.

Now I have to try those...which did you use for the glaze, the apple juice or the milk?

What is it about being pregnant that makes me think I can cook?! It might just be your yummy-looking (and easy) recipes!! :) I'll let you know if I burn the house down.

Ooh, we're in the thick of teething here too. I work nights as an RN, so hubby has had two nights in a row of waking up every two hours! I just love the stink faces, Paige likes to do them, then laughs. Thanks for the recipe, I can't wait to make some!

Those stink faces just make me laugh every time you show them. I feel so bad for him though, his gums look so painful. I'm so glad I can't remember what it felt like to get new teeth in! Happy weekend!

So how do you take pics of Aaron w/out busting a gut laughing ? He is something else.

BTW: I am loving the placque on your mantle that reads "Do what you have to so you can do what you want to. " That is powerful. I need something like that to put in my house as a gentle reminder.
