we're on a mission.our favorite oldest son is turning three soon.
ok, october.
but i have learned since having a second child that it takes me twice as long to do things as it did before...so where i would normally start planning his party a month in advance...i am now starting two months before hand.
we want it to be awesome.
we have tons of fun ideas.
this weekend we set out to start working on our ideas for favors.
meet bot A.

doug made one and i made the other.he thinks his is better.
i think mine is.
so we thought we would have some silly fun.

the only "rule" we had was that their bodies had to be slinkys...they are still in their boxes.
the rest of them is made from random things we had or purchased...
the purpose being that as a whole...it would be a cool party favor.but when the kid gets sick of their robot...they could be dismantled for more fun.
i can't wait to share our other ideas with you.
by the time we are done...you will be all set to throw your own robot party.

We are not that organised (3 weeks to go till N turns 6!), mainly because I can not get consensus between the birthday boy and me on what we will do.
It was tough to decide - they are both awesome!- but I think I would go with Bot B. He looks a bit like Wallee I think.
I like "a". Would they all have "M" or each person's individual initial?
I think they're BOTH awesome as well! My choice would be "B".

My daughters' Birthdays are October 2nd and 3rd so I have a lot of planning to do. I am starting now, as well. I vote for bot A. :)

What a cool idea. We're having our kiddos first birthday party next weekend and are doing a bad to the bone rockstar theme. We're going to give out root beer and candy cigarettes as adult favors, but we still need something to give out to the little ones. I think I'm going to go with bot B. I am really digging the crayon legs.

Gosh I like them both, but if I were voting I would pick "A" only because it seems a little less detailed and for 3 year old, I think less parts might be better...
While I LOVE both.. (bot b has a wall-e look about him hehe!).. I hve to vote for "A"! He is so darn cute!! :) And what a cute idea... Andrew & I may have to make those just for fun!!! xo!

Bot A looks like Plex, and Bot B looks like Wall-e, they are both awesome but I like Yo Gabba Gabba and Plex, so BOT A is my vote, and I think you made it!

I was looking through a stack of old magazines before they went to the recycling. I'm sure you already have tons of great robot party ideas, but I wanted to tell you that Cookie Magazine {April, 2009} did a robot party theme...just in case you need a few more ideas!
