I personally think ice cream trucks are creepy...I expect some equally creepy clown to pop out of them...
Anyway...you ask Moses what this is and he will tell you that it is the "Time out truck". :) I presently have him convinced that this truck drives around giving out time outs and spankings...though he has no idea what a spanking is he is fearful enough of a timeout to want to avoid this truck. :)
I am sure that believing this won't last too long.

Oh no, the ice cream truck brings back awesome memories for me and my kids love going over to England during the Summer and hearing the ice cream man coming down the road and waiting in eager anticipation to see if someone will dole out some cash and let them have at it.
I can't believe you tell Moses it's a T.O.T, that is pretty funny/evil.
Little Man is adorable and getting so big already.
They grow up way too quickly huh ?
LOL! I agree - you're funny!! :)
You think your ice cream truck is creepy ours is a white van! You know the type of van that you tell your kid to never go to especially when being offered ice cream and candy from the strange man driving it! haha
We call our truck the Music Truck. He just drives around playing music for everyone to hear. : ) I don't what to know the day she knows that it has ice cream in it! Then the begging we'll begin.
i hate the ice cream truck! amen, sista! unfortunately, my oldest two are 8 & 6, and the time out truck excuse would just never work. :( ps hilarious!
Yea, I lol at spankings and time outs!!! My kids Luuuuuuuuv the ice cream truck and Im ok with it except for spending about 10 bucks on junk easily per week drives me nuts but its SUMMER and its a "memory"......I even put pictures on my facebook of them running out there (they are 11 and 12) with friends, sitting by the big oak tree and having fun. Your son is going to figure mommy out one day ..lol....But yes, it did give me a chuckle for sure.
You totally crack me up. xoxoxoxoxo
I agree that ice cream trucks are creepy. We call ours the music truck. So far that has worked.
when he learns the truth, he will know you lied! i would rather tell my kids the truth, and say that it isn't good for them to eat that junk....also, i don't want my kids to be super fearful of people.
just my two cents for what it is worth....

Like Becky, we've tried to tell the kids it's the music truck. But they seemed to figure out the truth. And yet we've never bought anything for them from the truck. I've heard the icecream treats have really shrunk since we (I) were kids (70s).
Aw I wish we had an ice cream truck. We have lived in the country all my life, except for one summer when we were in the process of moving. We lived in town and had an ice cream truck. I love the little Bugs and Tweetie ones with the gumball eyes.
ohhhhmygosh, this has me laughing SO HARD right now! LOL!! TOTALLY something I would do, i love it!!
Funny. It was the music truck for a long time at our house, until our older kids got wise to it! Now we can't hide it. Now we just have to say that dreaded word...no!
I agree we stay at home mommys have to use our little ones for entertainment!!
TOTALLY CREEPY!! Our guy is definitely a drug dealer. He never even stops for kids who are waiting for him! Jackson is clueless as to what it is. He thinks it's the "music truck" too.
Love that pic of Aaron.
A friend of ours used to tell her kids that whenever the ice cream truck played music it meant they were out of ice cream. :)
