what's that song...

As I was driving home from MOPS yesterday one of my all time favorite songs came on the radio. All time favorite meaning it is one of two songs that I l.o.v.e. to sing along to...as loud as I can...like no one can hear me. :) Well my two kids were in the back and they can hear but I consider them tone deaf until they are able to say other wise. :) One of those songs is "Stay" by Lisa Loeb. LOVE IT!!
The other is Duncan Sheik's "Barely Breathing".

I could have a CD with just these two songs on it and be happy for a pretty long time.
Is that sad? You probably didn't need to know this about me, right?

So I want to know...what is your song?
That one or two that you can hear over and over and never get enough.

Happy Friday!
xoxo

When Jack was newborn, "Stay" was one song that would quiet him down almost instantly.

but i still love it.
now i have to go search for the other song because it didn't ring a bell...but i am bad with song titles.

I really miss Lisa Loeb's reality show that was on for awhile, where she was looking for love. She seems like such a cool person.

Anyhoo, I'm dating myself, but I'm a huge Journey fan. I love to sing super loud to Don't Stop Believing, Faithfully, etc... Anything Journey, I'm there.

Oh and my kids tell me to stop singing when we're in the car, so I just sing LOUDER!!

Have a great weekend!

Crash~Dave Matthews Band , Come on Eileen~Dexie's Midnight Runners and my FAVORITE SONG EVER~Little Red Corvette~Prince and about a million others. I am a child of Top 40 70's radio and 45s,so I fall in love with songs, not artists or albums.

My favorite song is "Two Hearts" (Baja Sessions version) by Chris Isaak...it was our first dance song at our wedding.
A close second is "Yellow" by Coldplay.

I also love Barely Breathing. Angel Eyes - The Jeff Healey Band. That was played at football games in college right before I'd go out with the marching band to twirl (the baton). I thought it was so pretty and it gets me very nostalgic. Others are: Walk on the Ocean - Toad the Wet Sprocket, In My Life - Beatles, Blackbird - Beatles (my uncle plays it on the guitar and sings it).
