baby things...

Just a couple of baby projects I got done in the last day or so...the onesie above was totally inspired by one of my favorite blog neighbors...Meg. How terrible is it that this is the first thing I have made for my own baby to be? :) LOVE LOVE it...I have pile of onesies laying around for crafting sake...if you're dying for one just as cute. :) I'm just saying...
I also got these simple but adorable initials done. :) Scrapbook paper, canvases and mod podge are all you need. :) Easy and sweet (at least I think so).
Today I also got the baby clothes out to wash...looks like we will be able to use Moses' baby clothes for the first couple of months but summer may require a new wardrobe for the little one...dang it! I also got our infant hammock up and ready...but that may come down to go to the hospital with us.
Still need to make curtains...using this fun fabric. I also have another large canvas project that I am working on for the nursery. It's coming along...slowly but surely.

I am LOVING the butter yellow and shades of gray color scheme we are using. :) It feels boyish but still sweet. :)

Tomorrow I am planning to stay home and recuperate from the busy(but good) day we had today...MOPS, lunch out, Micheal's, post office, working on the nursery and then since Moses didn't nap today we went to the mall to walk around for distraction...almost two hours of walking has worn me out!

Tomorrow (or Saturday)I hope to have a fun announcement for hopes that it will inspire you to change some thinking you may have...and give you a boost in the right direction. :)

Take care of you until then! :) xoxo

I love the onesie. I added it to my favorites so that I can remember to make it when I find out what I am having. Thanks for posting all of your crafts.

I'm in LOVE with the babies initial art! SO CUTE! Did you give away the name and I somehow missed that? I was so curious I back-tracked and went and looked at peoples name guesses again! I remember you saying someone guessed right & so now I THINK I MIGHT know? (I was one of those kids who peaked at my presents before Christmas, can you tell?)

ooohh Crystal those initials are so so so cute! I love them. Have you told your blog friends the name of baby # 2 yet? Just wanted to see if I missed it.

Did you use the infant hammock with Moses? That thing sounds really interesting.

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend. I know this must be such an exciting time for you in preparation for baby # 2. What does Moses have to say about baby brother? also while I'm thinking of it - any potty training tips you can give out?

Have a blessed weekend!

First, thank you so much for praying for my husband and I last night....update post coming soon on that ;)

Second, I love the canvases...I tried to make some similar for my daughters room, but had trouble adhering the paper to the canvas. Do you use the ModPodge? Details!

Love the onesie and the initial board. Brilliant. Can't believe you have an Amby hammock. It is the only thing that helped us survive Lucy's reflux. I have never met anyone else who used one and my friends and family lovingly mocked me for my "granola ways" when I bought it. It didn't even occur to me to bring it to the hospital. Brilliant idea. Rock on Amby!

Have you seen these cute baby creations on this Etsy site??

I thought of you when I saw the cute green onesie that says "Shop at Etsy or I'll make a wetsy."

I the onsie with a big 'a' on it! If I had a baby, I'd buy one from you!

I was wondering if you could share with us how you save memories of Moses. Just through this blog?

I have friends who have a special calendar and just write down every single day special memories/experiences. I have others who do Others who do nothing. Others who just have a great memory and when they scrapbook the pics, write about different things going on during that time of life.

I don't want it to be overwhelming but I also don't want to regret not writing down more memories. Any thoughts to offer? :)

Hi Crystal!
I don't know how I came across your blog, but I just love it!! I am a SAHM with 2 little ones and you have really inspired me to re-ignite my creative spark and to FIND the time to do the little things that really make a difference and mean so much. I would love to "hear" some of your organizational tips because I am really at a loss at this point--totally overwhelmed with the toys, paperwork, kids crafts, etc, and my husband is a pack rat! Thanks for sharing your thoughts, your crafts... God bless you and your beautiful family, May the rest of your pregnancy be smooth sailing!
