Here are some glimpses caught in my house...dishwasher-unloaded by my wonderful husband...besides cleaning the bathroom, it is my least favorite task...and he does it often and unprompted...that's the best...

...assembling Christmas cheer packages for friends...some I have never even "met"...

...a happy lunch for Moses...well worth the effort when it made him smile ear to ear...he kept calling them "baby
Jesus crackers". :) ...

...assembling cookie bundles...some for the cheer packages...

...making some to giveaway...because I can...

...but mostly I like to think of love that starts out looking like this...

...and ended up looking like this.
This is how we know what love is:
Jesus Christ laid down his life for us.
I John 3:16a...hoping you are finding love all around you today...
xoxo

Unloading the dishwasher is NOT fun, you're right! :) How sweet of Doug to do it for you.. I lovvve those photo ornaments, by the way! Have a great day!
Thank you for sharing this! Your post really made me smile! I love that you are doing care packages just to make people smile!

i just want you to know how excited i get when my google reader has "little bit funky" in bold - meaning you have a new post. i know it will mean REAL words from a REAL girl, and some cute creativity with it! thanks!
I LOVE the picture where we can see your baby bump poking in! So cute :) You've got LOTS Of love in your house!
My husband helps in the kitchen too and last night he got the mail for us since I hadn't checked it in two days not wanting to get out of my nice warm car to go into the mail room in the cold and damp. :)
I like the Christmas cheer package idea. Did you come up with it? You just send them to whoever? How do you decide? My problem is always feeling like I have to "do" for all if I do for one. Kelly
p.s. I really liked your numbers post too. Creative posting lately! Fun to read as always. Kelly
What a cute little post. I loved it!
i love your creative perspective on the simple, but most important, things in life! those Baby Jesus crackers made my day! :)
I love this post. Thank you!
You have such a kind heart! I love reading your posts! I wish I still lived in Roanoke, VA and we could meet halfway for a coffee. :)
Wishing you total joy this Christmas!
Ugh, I second that notion on unloading the dishwasher. BLech! And, how lucky are you...? My hubby has never even seen the inside of our dishwasher, or dryer, or washer....the list goes on and on, hhehe!
what a lovely post sweet crystal.
love at my house? hmmm....i am not feelin' the love recently. i would love some one to take over the laundry. i would love the dishes getting done.
i guess love has been sweeping the floor for me. and shoveling the snow. and wiping off my windshield on our first snow.
so i guess i am loved. :)
all your pictures are so good. and cheery.
i feel refreshed now.
:)
