Favorite Things Giveaway! Week Seven Part Two-Noodle and Lou Studio

Part TWO of this weeks giveaway comes from Jenn at Noodle and Lou Studio. :) Jenn is just a jewel of a human being...every time I chat with her I just want to hug her! :) She just oozes sweetness and goodness. :) You would have to, to create goodies like the one above right?
Often in her shop you will find these darling little houses...but you have to be on your toes to get one...they go FAST...like, take too long to check out and they are GONE...fast...I happily have a set of three that live in my whimsical bathroom...
She also has a darling little blog where she lets us take a peek into her world of art and family. :) Go say hi! :)

Jenn has kindly offered up a copy of the print above to one lucky winner. :) This is one of my personal favorites...and would make a great gift for anyone on your list. :)

All you have to do to win is to leave a comment on this post...in that comment share what you can do TODAY to make someones day better (then go do it!). :)

Good luck to you...I'll draw a winner on Monday! :)

xoxo

PS. The winner of the Tulip Lady giveaway is Diane! :) Diane please let me know you saw this and then contact Vicki to claim your prize! :)

Ummm, so far today I showed up at work and for today, that was pretty darn good. But, I am inspired by Chrissie Grace's blog and tonight, the kids and I are going to make cookies and bring them to our 3 neighbors.

Hugs,

Tonight I am going to call an acquaintance that lots of people avoid because of her constant talking and complaining. Tonight I will listen with an open mind and a loving heart.

What a week..our company recently laid off 400 and everyone is stressed to the max with overloaded work, holidays etc....I try to keep it light and fun and brought in Starbucks...we "frapp" our way through it!! Thanks...I love your ideas and visiting the blog even though my 11 year old thinks it strange to keep up with someone I don't know!!!

Today I invited our new neighbor to our Chinese gift exchange. She lives alone so I figured she'd get a kick out of coming over and associating with us and our friends! :)

Plus, I made a blog! That makes MY day better. ;)

Sorry this is long: Yesterday I took my oldest daughter for a doctors visit. While I was checking in with the receptionist I couldn' t help but hear the woman next to me speaking to the second receptionist. It seems she had been unable to make her appt the day before and had rescheduled for the next day. Here she was for her childs appt but they didn't have them in the computer. She explained that she had to take off work, get her children out of school and come a great distance but still the receptionist just insisted that they had no appointment for her. Finally they started looking for dates to reschedule. Nothing seemed to match. She had a work schedule, the kids had school and activities and worse yet the pain that her daughter had been experiencing was happening now right as they were standing in that lobby with no appointment.

So I gave her my daughters appointment. I apologized for eavesdropping and then asked if it would be possible for them to take our appointment. We live no more than 5 minutes for the doctors office, our appointment was not an emergency and I would be happy for them to have it. They all looked at me like I was crazy. "It's Christmas" I said.

i think the nice lady and her kids thanked us about 20 times.
i went home (in the pouring rain) with my 10, 2 and 1 year olds feeling pretty darn good.
thanks for the great giveaway!

Oh, how I love her shop, so adorable and talented! CUTE!

This morning, I paid for the person behind me in the Starbucks drive thru...and drove away without a word. I hope I made her day!

When I go to the store, I am going to drop some loonies (Canadian $1 coins) when I see small children in the vicinity and hope they are the lucky ones who find them.

Well, I can't top Karens post! That was an awesome gesture!! And totally something I would do!

Last night I hosted a surprise birthday party for a beautiful 18 year old young lady. At the start of her senior year this fall, she had a stroke due to her diabetes. She is an honor roll student, and because she is recuperating at home with lots of therapy, she was kicked out of the honor roll program, which affects her scholoarship for college. So sad! I just felt she needed a party to show her how special she really is and why she deserves to be celebrated!

Not only do I adore Jenn, I collect her fabulous art! It's all over my home! With a little bit funky here and there too!

Great attitude for the CHRISTmas season, do for OTHERS! Great reminder!
Make a meal for my neighbor who is a single mom with 3 kids. Nice to come home to a hot meal.
So many little things we can do to make a "change". It starts with ME!
Blessings
