Case in point...

After a particularly rough visit to Sam's club yesterday morning (thanks to every snotty person in town showing up to be rude and obnoxious to me)...I barely made it to the car without crying...as we are leaving the parking lot I notice a note tucked into the windshield wiper..."Oh GREAT!" I thought immediately..."Someone has hit the car and left their info for me...great...JUST great"...I get out, snatch the note and get back inside...I am already in tears at this point...I read the note...it says, in Norwegian..."Merry Christmas and Happy New Year...from another Norwegian". Now I am crying for a whole other reason...the man left his FULL name and phone number...along with his warm well wishes. (read two posts back if this makes no sense to you).
Also...I am 29 weeks as of yesterday...and slowing down with every ticking hour...I think baby is a runner...and unhappy with the arrangement of my internal organs...why else would he continually try to move them?

Hope your weekend is well and blessed and full of unexpected greetings. :)
xoxo

Some things just happen for a reason, don't they? I just have to share...a few years ago, my friend was substitue teaching at her son's (and my daughter's school). A few nights before she had had a really tough Parent Club meeting, and there was a lot of controversy. I decided to leave her a note on her car just to say "hi, and I hope your day is GREAT!". Well, she thought it was a hateful note, and ripped it off her windshield, only to call me laughing, because she really NEEDED a nice little note...and how often does that happen in today's age? :) I try to leave nice notes for people now. :) I especially try to leave little "thank you's" for people with Armed Forces bumper stickers. :)

I'm sorry to hear you were having a crappy day... but glad that the Lord saw fit to show you that not everyone is so crappy. :)

Don't you love the little ways that God can lift you up? Several weeks ago my husband went out of town on business and lost his license in the airport. When he got home he kept forgetting to get a new license as it was a VERY busy week for us. We were planning a party for his mother's 70th birthday, my son was VERY sick, and so on...Needless to say, the Lord blessed us. We received an envelope in the mail and it contained my husband's license! Someone found it in the airport and sent it to us in a christmas card! There are still good people in this world!

What a sweet little note to find. I'm glad someone was able to bring some happiness to your not-so-good day. It goes to show that the small and simple things we do really are the most important and can make a big difference.
