You know your bathroom is dirty when...

So you know the cleanliness of your home has taken a turn for the worse when your toddler takes things into his own hands. This morning when we were getting ready for church we heard that scary silence that only comes when a toddler is is up to no good. We found him in the upstairs bathroom. Literally taking matters into his own hands. He had the comet. Oh yes. It was in a baby proofed cabinet so the fact that he got his hands on it proves his genius right? Anyway. By the time I got there the sink was covered, the toilet was covered, his toilet was covered, the floor was covered and the tub was covered. What was I to do but clean the bathroom, right then and there, in my church clothes. He left the bathroom and made periodic checks to make sure I was doing my job. The bright spot in all of this is that at least this proves that I do clean the bathrooms...how else would he know what to do with the comet?

Comet in the bathtub is so much nicer than vegetable oil in the carpet . . . maybe Jack should take a lesson.

Well...it's better than baby powder. ;) When my now 7 year old son was Moses' age, he was playing with his cars in the bathroom. (Don't know why...he's always loved to play in there.) He decided there needed to be snow...and it snowed (with baby powder) over the ENTIRE bathroom. I walked in, told him to stay right where he was, and grabbed the camera. It was hilarious.

At least you know you won't have to worry about Moses being a dirt monster! LOL

Devious but far more polite than my sons "mummy this room is disgusting, you had better clean it right now" I dont know where he heard that from ;) It's best to just laugh at these things, there are too many real dramas to cry about. loving getting to know you through your blog, mind if I blogroll you?
