Sweet Faces...

Would you just look at this sweet boy? Some times I love him so much I could just squeeze him to bits...he is such a joy in my life and I am daily, daily thankful to be his mama! Say a little prayer for me would you? I can just feel the enemy poking at me...through this and that he is working his way into my head trying to convince me that I am not a good mom...you moms know how it goes...a remark heard here or there, thrown at your direction or just at people "like" you...and before you know it you are questioning your mothering skills...
If you click on this photo to enlarge it you can see his most recent injury. In the nursery at church yesterday he fell off of a bench and hit his lip...by the time they came to get me he was already done crying and off to play...we don't dilly with minor injuries here...I either tell him "Save your tears for important things" or "It will get better before you get married". :)
Bop-Bop, if you are reading this...I hope it makes your day to know that Moses was asking for you all day...I kept telling him that you are in NJ and that we will see you soon!
Here is another sweet face that I just love...I have been trying forever to create my own little dolly to sell in the shop...a hard task for many reasons...mostly my lack of skill and my desire for it to look like my own creation...hard to do with a million dolls on Etsy. I love how she turned out...you can go meet Alice and Annie in the shop...
Here is another of my favorites at the moment...I had some zippers I wanted to use up and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out...also ready and in the shop!

Onto the winner...you all are the biggest bunch of weirdos, er I mean most wonderful readers ever...some of you had me gagging...April, if my husband did that...there would be fighting words, Kate-I grew up in Howard County mostly, Smith family-peanut butter chili sandwiches...barf, Mique-you are better woman than I, Amanda- I put ketchup in my eggs too-yum!, Jennifer P-you made my day! but the strangest and most gagging to me of all was.......

Jenn-whose hubby puts SWISS cheese on poptarts!!! I would link to you if I could but please contact me via Etsy to get me your address. :)

Hope your day is happy!! :) xoxo

De-lurking to say that although I don't 'know' you, I've been following your blog over the summer, and it's obvious that you ARE a great mom! Your love for your family radiates! Keep your head up!

The dolls are so you! Very cute. I love your pouch. I've made several wristlets for friend, family and myself and I need to make some for the shop too I guess.

I am working with my son on minor boo boos and upsets too. He totally overreacts and I try so hard to get him to calm down. Ignoring, giving some but little attention, talking him down and explaining he doesn't need to get so upset. The last one seems to work the best.

Thanks for commenting on my blog today, I was feeling down and even contemplating shutting it down and just doing our family snapshot blog.

Omgosh, those dolls are seriously adorable!!! =] Just so cute! When my oldest daughter (5) gets hurt, which is actually quite often {lol} I tell her if there is no blood or broken bones, she is fine! lol That usually in some odd way, cheers her up. {kids}

Crystal -
Don't let the enemy throw that crap at you. You are a wonderful Mom to Moses and will be to your next one. The enemy can't take away what has already happened and you have already proven you love your child/ren and do everything in your power to be a great mom.

I love the dolly! She is very cute!

I so know what you are talking about with the kiddos. Although, I can honestly say that over the last couple of months reading your blog...I have thought to myself, "Wow, she really has it together". It is nice to know you are human. ;)

Have you ever listend to music by Sarah Groves? She went through a time in her life when she had the same sort of 'doubts' even though she knew she was a great mom. She has written some great songs about it. They are inspiring, and yet comforting.

I forgot to say... I LOVE the new dolls! They are adorable. Of course, I haven't seen anything in your shop that I didn't want....

Crystal,
like everyone else has said, you are a great mom! Whoever or whatever gave you the idea that you aren't is crazy! I do the same thing with Colleen when she falls. I check her out, make sure she is ok, but don't make a fuss "get back off, brush off, and keep going" I love you new stuff. My sewing maching is sitting in the corner gathering dust...I hope to get it out soon!
