A boy and his daddy...

Another perfectly lovely day here in Virginia...perfect temperature, sunny, a little breezy...beautiful! Above is one of my favorite things about Charlottesville...we see these hot air balloons quite often...apparantly their path goes right over our house...
Very cool to see fairly regularly...
There is a second one right in the tree line...they usually travel in threes...
Moses thought they were cool...He thinks his dad is cool too...he should.
Every boy and his daddy should be best friends...don't you think?
Some freshening up on the mantle...to go with the fresh weather we are having...Complete with birds and nests...Food and family is my favorite FREE magazine...if you go here you can get it free too...it has some of the best and most simple recipes you could ever ask for...
AND ribbon is on sale at Micheal's these were $1 each...I got a little carried away...Hope you are enjoying the sunshine...

I would LOVE to hear some of your ideas for posts...leave me a comment about what you would like to hear about and I will see what I can do. :)

I LOVE your new blog background and did you change or add on to the banner? Oh, I'd love to grab up some ribbon. Maybe I can raid our change jar...

I'd love a post of you explaining your creative process.

Also more of your background.

Someone saw the pincushion I made you and bought one from me (not on etsy) :-). I didn't undercharge, you'd be proud.

Oooh..we see a lot of hot air balloons here too they like to float over the lake....our local weather man was in one a while back and we saw the balloon he was in on the way to nana's house...so Chloe made me follow it...it took me outta the way....but it was an adventure we will always remember....oh what is that...you say she will never remember that ...she is too young...oh yea she will I will remind her of the day I drove 20 minutes down roads I didnt know to follow Larry Sprinkle in the hot air balloon.

Your mantle looks so awesome! Now I want to redo mine for spring.

I hit the ribbon sale at Michael's this week too. Limiting myself to only black and white. (trying to behave) Looking at your colorful stack I want more more more!!! Hehe.

Love your blog and all of your creations. Have a great weekend!

Guess who is sneaking off to Michael's this morning? The hot air balloons are amazing. It is one of my hubby's dreams to go on one. None around here... That Kraft mag is responsible for 99% of my favorite and speedy recipes. Loving the mantle too. Spring happiness.

Thanks for the magazine link... I signed up. Anything free right now is a great thing! I have a stack of ribbon upstair and a pile of cards I planned to make but haven't made the time yet - hopefully soon. This weather makes my household feel very creative. All two of us. : )

I know I'm a little late posting on this particualr post, but I love all your pictures! I was thinking about how I'd redo my mantle, and you hit the nail on the head! I had another color frames. Think I'll paint them black or white. Are the stars wooden?

The Kraft magazine is AH-mazing. Got it on my desk here at work, waiting to dog-ear pages for the week.

Hope you have a great day!
Ashley
