In other news...

Is it just me and the southerner in me who finds this giant pineapple just fabulous? Nothing says welcome to my kitchen better than a big 'ol pineapple. I happily lugged this beauty all over TJ Max the other day and gladly paid the $14.99 listed on the price tag. Jealous?
I found the sweet birds above at my local Michaels. LOVE them...they are nestled in a bed of stale coffee beans and live in the center of my dining room table.

What a great use of stale coffee beans! I will be using this idea in the future. :)

I love the pineapple, did you know that it is a symbol of welcome? My parents have a couch with little pineapple all over it and it certainly screams "welcome"!

I love the coffee been idea, but how do you keep little Moses out of that? I could send my kids over for you to find out how they can quickly be scattered all over the house, attempted to be fed to any pets and found in the strangest places.

I did know that Kristi! I have a couple other pineapples around the house...I seem to be drawn to them in stores. :) Moses can't reach the table yet and so can't reach the coffee beans. :) Yet. :)
